What are activity logs and where to find them? What are activity logs and where to find them?

Activity logs, in simple terms, are like a computer’s or a booking system’s journal. They record some of the actions that have taken place in the system. You can think of them as a tool for tracking important events and activities.

Why are they important for you as a user of the booking system?

These logs are like the system’s memory. They remember selected actions and events that have happened. This can be useful if you ever want to check, for example:

  • which employee changed, canceled, deleted, or added a reservation.
  • which employee canceled or created a subscription/package.
  • which employee and how they changed the content of a notification/reminder.
  • which employee made changes to availability schedules, which schedule it was, and what changes were made.
  • many other parameters related to offers, sales, and more.

As a user, you won’t need to do much with them, but it’s good to know that they exist. If you ever encounter problems or something isn’t working correctly in the booking system, you can look into these logs to find out what’s happening. It’s like having a secret helper behind the scenes, ensuring that your system runs smoothly.
