Notifications is the section in which you will configure the type of notifications that Calendesk will send to your customers and employees. Here you can customize the content of all notifications that are sent from the Calendesk platform.
Editing the content of notifications
By selecting the function button marked in the picture above, you can edit all the notifications that Calendesk sends to your customers and employees. For more information on editing notifications, see the article “Settings – edit notifications”.
SMS and email notifications
In this section, you can choose which notifications will be sent to your customers and employees. Notifications are divided into three types of messages:
Push messages are messages that appear as a banner on your smartphone screen. They are not paid and do not depend on the number of SMS or email messages available to you, as part of the notification pool purchased from the Calendesk store. You can modify the content of these notifications. You can find out how to edit the content of these notifications in the article “Settings – edit notifications”.
These messages are sent to your customers and employees to the emails that were provided during registration in Calendesk. For information on how to change email addresses, see the articles “Customers – list of customers” and “Employees – list of employees. For information on how to edit the content of email notifications you send, see the article “Settings – edit notifications”. The number of emails available to you is displayed at the place indicated in the picture below.
SMS messages are sent to your customers and employees to the phone numbers they provide when registering in the Calendesk system. For information on how to change phone numbers, see the articles “Customers – list of customers” and “Employees – list of employees”. For information on how to edit the content of SMS notifications you send, see the article “Settings – edit notifications”. The number of SMSes available to you is displayed at the place indicated in the picture below.
Replenishment of the number of notifications
If you are approaching the limit of the number of SMS and email notifications available, you should replenish the number of notifications by purchasing an additional notification package. To purchase more notifications, press the “Buy” function button to the right of the remaining SMS or email counter (shown in the picture above).
In the animation above, you will see how the SMS notification package is purchased Email notifications are purchased in the same way. You decide how many notifications you buy. You can modify the number of notifications you buy before purchasing. Our system will calculate how much you will pay for the package as soon as you enter the number of notifications.
If you do not connect any payment method to the Calendesk portal, you will see the message as in the animation above:
- “You have no payment method connected. Go to “Profile, accounts and payments”, then select the “Settings” tab and add a payment method.

If you have previously connected a payment method, your bank account will be charged the amount due for that notification package. All payments are processed by the Stripe system.
Activating and deactivating notifications
Activation and deactivation of notifications are done by pressing the function button located at the name level of each type of notification so that the gray slider turns blue when activating notifications and the blue slider turns gray when deactivating notifications.
Any change made in the notification management panel must be approved with the “Save” function button if it is to be effective.
