How can I configure platform settings including timezone, language, currency, and phone prefix?

Settings – Platform
In the Settings – Platform tab, you can customise elements such as:
- the language displayed in the admin panel,
- the time zone,
- the area code,
- the currency used for your business operations.

Additionally, the checkboxes below allow you to:
- remove special characters from SMS notifications,
- hide the setup progress displayed in the Dashboard tab.
Here, you can also decide whether employees added in the Employees tab can change the language on their user accounts and set their own time zone.
Here, you decide whether every non-logged-in customer must confirm their booking—proving they are not a robot—using a verification code sent via email.

Another useful option in the platform settings is the ability to redirect the user after a payment for a booking, whether it was successful or failed.
You can set a separate URL for a successful payment and a different one for a failed payment.
Please note that this feature is only available if the payment is made online via a payment system integrated with Calendesk, such as Stripe.

Language
Language is an important part of the panel configuration, as it determines whether customers receive information about your services in the appropriate way.
If you change the language in the panel after setting up your account, please be aware that some data on your website will remain unchanged. The originally set language will not be updated in the following areas:
- automatically generated Privacy Policy,
- automatically generated Terms and Conditions,
- names entered in the Offer tab,
- displayed names of your employees,
- customised email, SMS, and push notifications,
- texts you have set in the calendar on your website.
However, the following will change:
- the default language for displaying information in the panel,
- email, SMS, and push notifications sent by default by the Calendesk system,
- website templates created after changing the language.
If you change the language in the Calendesk booking system and are using Stripe for payments, please be aware that Stripe will receive information about the language change, which may affect the language used for issuing invoices. We will also issue your invoice in the language you select as the default in the panel.
Platform Time Zone

This element affects the local time, which determines the time according to which our system sends SMS and email notifications to your customers and employees.
If you set a time zone different from the one used in your country, our system will operate based on the time zone you have set, ignoring the one in which you are located.
Area Code
The area code setting determines the billing for SMS notifications. The charges are based on each part of the message sent and the destination country. You can read more about this in the SMS notification pricing.

Currency

The currency is important in relation to the value of the services you offer and the billing on the Stripe platform. Services can only be sold in a single currency – it is not possible to use multiple currencies for one Calendesk account.
