In this section, you will learn how to use the website wizard on the Calendesk platform.
Building a website
If you want to create a new website, go to the “Add-ons” section and then to the “Website” tab. Here you will find the function button “Create website” or “New website”.
At the template name level of the website, you can see the status of the website. If the website is published, it means that it is available to your customers at the URL indicated in the column named “Domain”. Additional information shown here is the label “Main website”. The home page of the website is the page to which the mobile application will be connected. The mobile application can only connect to one website from your admin panel.
Disabling and editing a website
If you wish, you can disable the website (make it unavailable on the web when you type the URL into your web browser) or edit it. Both actions are possible by clicking the function key hidden under the three dots at the template name level and then selecting the “Edit” or “Disable” button respectively.
By selecting the “Create a website” button, you will see a screen where you should select one of the suggested tiles representing the business you are running. Of course, not every business has been anticipated, so you will find a variant named “other” at the end of the list of proposed templates.
Elements on your website
After selecting any business, proceed to the next step – selecting elements. The selected elements will appear on your website. Remember, if necessary, you can use the help of our consultants. To do this, select the “Chat with service” function button or the purple cloud located in the lower right corner of the browser. Furthermore, you can return to the previous step (business selection) by clicking on the “back” function button. When you select the “Next” function button, the browser will redirect you to the next step.
The next step is to choose the style (colors) of your website. When you select a variant, press the “Next” button. Your website is almost ready!
Now you just need to give your website a name. This name will only be visible to you in the admin panel.
We just presented step by step how to build a website using the Calendesk wizard. The website wizard and the configuration of the administrator panel allow you to create a modern website without a hassle and in a very short time. The website you created must be published if it is to be available to your customers. To publish the website, select the “Next” function button in the upper right corner of the wizard.
In the photo above, you will find the place where the URL of your website is shown. If you want to, you can edit it. In the free version, you can give an address that will contain the domain “calendesk.net”. This is called a subdomain. If you want, you can connect your own domain.
